 El Campo Memorial Hospital’s Dietary Department is responsible for providing quality meals, patient diet education and nutritional assessments as needed. Patients can request a dietary evaluation and dietary educational session from their physician or contact the Dietary Department at (979) 578-5160 to inquire about details.
The Dietary Department is a service provided to all patients, pediatric to geriatric, as well as family members, visitors and hospital personnel. All inpatients receive three meals per day with breakfast at 8:00 AM., lunch at 12:00 PM, and dinner at 5:00 PM.
The cafeteria serves meals through the buffet line for the public and visitors with breakfast from 8-8:30 AM, lunch from 11:15 AM – 1:00 PM, and closed at dinner. Visitor's evening meals may be purchased /pre-paid by contacting the Dietary Department before 3:00 PM at extension 160. Pre-paid meals will be sent to a designated room. In addition, the hospital has vending machines available for snacks and drinks.
The Dietary Department also offers gift certificates for purchase. A nutritious meal is always a great gift!
